Red Tiger Gaming was founded in 2014 and has become one of the leaders across the globe in creating casino slots and other electronic games. The casino game developer has created games that can be seen across Europe and Asia, and they have established a reputation for innovative ideas and designs.
Recently, Chris Looney, who was appointed as the commercial director at Red Tiger Gaming in September 2018, sat down with CalvinAyre.com’s Becky Liggero to discuss the newest ideas and marketing strategies of the gaming giant.
The biggest challenge for almost any developer these days has been creating products that appeal to a generation whose attention span is ever decreasing. Looney explained that they understand the difference in today’s player, and are developing products to make accommodation for this:
“We understand the mass player base at the moment is different to what it was maybe 10 or 15 years ago and we’re making a lot of changes. We’re looking at loading times of games, we’re looking at features that players can experience prior to actually triggering them in the game. We’re looking at games that you know have topical themes. We’re looking at technology, we’re looking at absolutely everything to accommodate today’s player.”
This is not just talk. Red Tiger Gaming has already started to design games specifically with this in mind. This includes adding features that will specifically keep the attention of users because of the bonuses that are available to them.
Looney explained that what they are looking to do is “promote the bonus round or the free spins around of the game so a player’s playing and they might have had a certain amount of dead spins or they maybe haven’t triggered the bonus.”
It is the individual where they are focusing their games. “What we’re trying to do is effectively give the player a rounded experience and make sure that if they are chasing something then it’s something that they are interested in and that they like, and you know we benefit from that.”
It is these kinds of ideas that have helped Red Tiger Gaming to develop one of the most enviable reputations in the industry. With two separate teams working on completely different approaches and styles to game development, they have helped to create innovations that have drawn millions to their games. As Looney modestly puts it, “we feel like we’re doing a very good job.” That may be the understatement of the year.
